Registration

• TCS accepts new student registration throughout the school year.  The registration period usually begins in late January and continues through February.  Contact the school office for more information or for specific registration dates.

TCS Awards 2009-2010

Each year TCS students participate in a number of extracurricular activities and do quite well. Below are some highlights from this past school year.

• Science Fair:  14 TCS students participated in the Metro Area Science Fair held at UNO.  12 of the 14 students placed in their category and TCS students placed First, Third, and Fourth overall.
• Speech Meet: TCS students earned 58 superior ratings and 4 excellent ratings in a speech meet for area Christian schools.
• Math Olympics:  TCS students compete with area Christian school and had 13 students place in the top eight for their grade levels.  TCS had two students placed first overall in their category, two placed second, and one placed third.
• Spelling Bee:  TCS had 13 students place in this event involving area Christian schools.  Of these, seven students placed either first or second in their age group.  Three TCS students qualified for the ACSI regional spelling bee in Rockford, IL.  
• Band:  TCS placed 3 students on the Nebraska 8th Grade All-State Band and 5 students on the Blair High School Honor Band, the middle school band earned two superior ratings at the Plattsmouth band festival and won first place at the Adventureland Festival of Bands
• Choir:  TCS placed a total of 13 students on either the UNO honor choir and Sing Around Nebraska Choir
• Robotics:  TCS send two teams to the CEENBot Robotics Showcase. These teams earned one first place trophy and four second place trophies.
• Athletics:  TCS volleyball teams won two league titles, TCS girls' basketball won one league title, TCS boys' basketball won two league titles, TCS track set five school records and won one event at the PAL Super Meet.
